Chapel of St Peter & St Paul – Greenwich
The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul located within the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is one of Britain’s finest eighteenth century interiors. It features a Samuel Green organ and an altarpiece painted by Benjamin West.
The chapel holds regular Sunday & mid-week services and is also used regularly by the University of Greenwich for convocation events. Clear amplified speech is essential in this large interior and Sound Analysts were asked to address specific system issues within a limited budget.
Any system that’s multi-functional is often used by many different by people and inevitably a manually operated control system is not always reset after use. Installing a processor based mixing system enables the Chapel to restore default settings at the touch of a button. Sound Analysts replaced the four separate analog units with a single Yamaha MTX3 unit linked to Digital Control Panel, with the option of WiFi control from an iPad Mini.
